Arthemia is a premium theme that was produced by the Colorlabs Project and Michael Jubel Hutagalung.

From a first glance the theme looks very sleek and professional, it includes many features such as automatic thumbnail resizing, random posts and colourful categories.

The theme includes a very advanced theme administration panel which would stop many people from ever needing to edit the code manually. Some of these features include editing the logo and changing the colour scheme of the categories.

I have been looking at the theme for a very long time, yet I still cannot figure out where the header ends. I presume the header is just the logo and navigation bar, if this is correct then the theme uses a very simple header to give effect to the rest of the theme. The nagivation bar uses drop down menus that look very good and easy to read.

Below the header you can see the headline and featured pages, these look very good and I really like how some of it has a grey background and some doesn’t as this makes each stand out. I also adore how the featured section as it scrolls through posts, it looks very good and works well.

I have never seen a theme that has the catagories where they are, or how they are done. By colourising the catagories the creator of the theme has made it look mch more like a website than a blog, which is good! It carries on in this style by including a post from each catagory in the sidebar.

I like how the content is done because it has the latest post big then all of the other posts in smaller boxes. Often each post fills the width of the content, but this has two posts side by side which I think looks quite good.

The footer consists of video posts, random posts, recent posts, most commented, most popular as well as the copyright information. I think this makes it look professional and I really like the idea of random posts, which just display the thumbnails, it is a concept that I rarely see built in to themes.

The only bad comment I have is the latest video post section. Many people I talk to who run successful blogs always say that video posts help a lot, so it is best to have the video post section near the top where everyone can see it rather than the last section on the page!

All in all I really like this theme and I believe it is well worth paying $70 for. If you want a professional looking blog then this may be the theme for you.
